This position requires a strong team approach, especially with sales and warehouse employees, in order to provide seamless service to our customers. This person has regular customer contact and, therefore, can make a significant difference in the company image. Retaining a positive attitude when solving customer-related issues is a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Process incoming orders · Process e-commerce customers’ orders · Review, verify and enter all appropriate order information including products, pricing, discounts, shipping details, etc. · Ensure order is shipped. · Answer customer phone inquiries. · Respond promptly to customer email inquiries · Ensure order turn - around time meets the company's promise to customer. · Solve customer service issues and offer support on multiple platforms · Assist Warehouse in Inventory control. QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent customer service skills.
2 years’ directly related experience
Understand the components of a Sales Oder, e.g. customer number, purchase order number, shipping address, billing address, specified routing, part number, etc.
Understanding of EDI systems is a plus
Thorough understanding of shipping and receiving, inventory control
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Math aptitude.
Ability to maintain accurate and current files.
Problem solving
Quality listening skills.
Demonstrating strong teamwork attitude willingly sharing information with others
Must be organized, great at time management, efficient at multi-tasking, have a positive attitude, forward thinking, self-motivated and trustworthy.
