Sales and Marketing Director

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and Manage: Oversee the sales and marketing team to drive growth and achieve company goals. Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and brand presence.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize approaches.
  • Sales Leadership: Mentor and guide the sales team in lead generation, deal closure, and customer relationship management. Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Marketing Oversight: Direct marketing efforts, including digital campaigns, content creation, and public relations. Collaborate with the marketing team to build and maintain a strong brand presence.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to position our client as a leader in their market.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record in leadership roles. Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and marketing tools.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar PV system design, market trends, and energy storage solutions. Familiarity with solar power tax incentives and financing options is a plus.
  • Attributes: A results-driven mindset with a passion for sustainability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
