Shipping Lead

Requirements:

Leadership experience in a Shipping role; will oversee 1-2 employees.
Palletizing shipments, filling out the packing slips, obtaining weights and dimensions.
Utilizing the online freight portal by entering weights and dimensions to obtain three quotes to provide to the customer allowing the customer to decide which freight company to use.
Or; providing weights and dimensions to the customer allowing them to set up a truck.
Loading trucks; signing off on paperwork.
High accuracy and attention to detail required.
Previous forklift experience is required.
Warehouse/Material Handler skills; additional tasks may be required such as putting material away/stocking, assisting in ensuring team is on task, etcetera.
Ability to work first shift 6am until 2:30pm, Monday thru Friday with flexibility for occasional overtime; extended days and/or an occasional Saturday.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Driver of company vehicle; must have a current driver license and proof of a clean driving record.
Previous manufacturing experience a plus
$22.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience
