Job Summary
This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work remotely while requiring in-person meetings with clients and court appearances in Riverside and Menifee, and occasionally in San Diego County. The ideal candidate is a licensed California attorney with at least 3 years of family law experience who can manage cases from start to resolution with confidence, diligence, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full case management from intake to resolution
  • Provide representation at Riverside and Menifee family law hearings, trials, and conferences
  • Develop legal strategies tailored to each case’s unique facts and goals
  • Draft and review pleadings, declarations, and settlement agreements
  • Propound and respond to discovery requests
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Negotiate settlements and advise clients on their options
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and team members
  • Collaborate with remote paralegals and other team members
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Active license with the California State Bar (in good standing)
  • 3+ years of family law experience in California
  • Proficiency in litigation, negotiation, legal writing, and courtroom procedure
  • Ability to manage a full caseload with organizational discipline and independence
  • Comfort with remote team collaboration and the use of practice management software
  • Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-conflict custody or complex property division cases
  • Training in mediation or collaborative law
