Customer Success Lead

Temp-to-Hire | On-site | Temecula, CA
Pay Range: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience

We’re seeking a confident, relationship-driven professional to serve as the primary point of contact for our customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building rapport, communicating proactively, and making sure customers feel supported from order placement through delivery.

The Customer Success Lead will work closely with internal teams to keep orders moving, resolve issues quickly, and provide a high-touch customer experience. This person should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in a small-team environment where priorities can shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, building strong relationships and responding to inquiries.

  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, lead times, delays, and other updates.

  • Coordinate with production, shipping, and invoicing teams to advocate for customers and keep orders moving.

  • Support client collaboration projects and help stay aligned on account activity.

  • Assist with email marketing efforts, including drafting customer communications, announcements, and campaign support.

  • Maintain accurate records, track open orders and account activity, and document customer interactions.

  • Provide light administrative support as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive.

  • Experience with email marketing platforms; Mailchimp preferred.

  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a client-facing B2B role.

  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial products is a plus.

  • Self-starter who works independently and takes ownership.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced small-team environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing tools.

  • Background in water treatment, filtration, or industrial manufacturing.

  • Exposure to international supplier or distributor relationships.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Occasional overtime may be required
