Customer Success Lead

Pay Range: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview:
Seeking a confident, relationship driven professional to own the customer facing side of the business. Will be the primary point of contact for all accounts, keeping customers informed, and ensuring a smooth experience from order to delivery. Should be comfortable picking up the phone, building rapport, and following through with initiative.

Job Duties & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customer accounts: building relationships, handling inquiries, and ensuring a high-touch experience
- Proactively communicating with customers on order status, lead times, delays, and updates
- Coordinating internally with production, shipping, and invoicing to advocate for customers and keep things moving
- Supporting with client collaboration projects to stay updated on the account
- Assisting with email marketing efforts: drafting customer communications, announcements, and campaign support
- Maintaining accurate records, tracking open orders and account activity, and documenting customer interactions
- Light administrative support as needed

Required Software & Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive) 
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (training provided for internal systems)

Years of Experience:
- 4+ years in a customer success, account management, or client-facing B2B role
- Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial product background is a strong plus

Required Skills:
- Genuinely enjoys talking to customers and building long-term relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication, professional, warm, and responsive
- High attention to detail, especially with order documentation and follow-through
- Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative
- Thrives in a small-team environment where no two days look the same

Preferred but not required:
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred but not required)
- Background in water treatment, filtration, or industrial manufacturing
- Exposure to international supplier or distributor relationships

Pay Range:
$20–$25/hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional overtime)
